  • To interpret the ISO 9001:2015 requirements (ten clauses) with regards to auditing perspective and understand the key changes in the international standard.
  • To understand the concept of Risk based thinking.
  • To understand the auditing principles, roles and responsibilities of an auditor / lead auditor and learning to plan, conduct and report the audit in accordance with ISO 19011:2011.
  • Undertake audit follow-up activities and understand the registration process of ISO 9001.
  • Equip personnel to conduct effective audits and to identify gaps within the existing Quality Management System vis-a-vis the requirements specified in ISO 9001:2015.

Note: Prior knowledge about ISO 9001 standard and QMS auditing is recommended. Having no prior knowledge may lead to unsuccessful completion of this course and the gaps in this knowledge may not be covered during this course.

Evaluation:

  • Participants will be assessed throughout the course for punctuality, presentation skills, interactive approach, involvement, role-play, daily tests etc. and finally through a written examination (open book) at the end of the course.
  • Minimum passing% criteria: 70%.

NBQP (National Accreditation Board for Education and Training) Registered  Certificate:

  • The Lead Auditor course is assessed and registered by NBQP and currently fulfills all compliances of NBQP.
  • Participants who scores 70% and above in both the continuous assessment and written examination will be issued a NBQP accredited certificate.
  • Unsuccessful candidates will be issued a certificate of attendance.
